The USG Incubator Grants created the space for institutions to innovate around the core principals of Complete College Georgia. There is tremendous interest in institutions across the system to invent creative solutions for student success, and the incubator funding has provided the critical support necessary for moving these ideas to reality.
Essential to these grants from the University System is the expectation that these opportunities be scalable and sustainable, to provide fuel to reimagine higher education across the state.
Moving forward, the grant program in its second year supported innovation as well as promoted the implementation of proven strategies in new settings. Sustaining this process of experimentation and scaling-up is a crucial part of reimagining the way higher education is delivered in Georgia.
In it’s third year, the USG Innovations Grants program focused on STEM initiatives to support the need for improved performance in fields critical to the future of the state. The STEM Grants align the opportunity for innovation and replication with essential components of education for the 21st century workforce.
