Focused on Transition to College, the 2019 Advising Academy convenes campus leaders in advising, enrollment management, and orientation and transition to discuss progress, practices and challenges in supporting students as they transition to college.
The University System will convene the 2019 Advising Academy at the University of West Georgia’s Student Center on October 4, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Academy will be an opportunity for teams from your institution to reflect upon and plan for improvements to the way students transition on your campus. Each institution is asked to assemble a team of five members to include:
Teams should be coordinated through the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Institutions interested in sending larger teams or with questions about the event should contact Jonathan Watts Hull directly at email@example.com or 404-962-3129.
There are no reserved hotel blocks for this event. We have identified four area hotels that are convenient to the University of West Georgia Campus should you require overnight accommodation.
