Developing internal RPA tools across divisions to streamline the creation of Academic Improvement Plans (AIPs) by the Academic Success Center for students on Academic Intervention (AI); streamline the creation of documents (GPA calculation forms and plans) required for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals in the Office of Financial Aid.

Activity Status: 
Evaluation/Assessment plan: 

Evaluation Plan and measures: (current) full data collection on AIP completion rates for students on AI; completion rates for SAP Appeals.

Baseline measure: engagement number, AIP completion, and SAP Appeal completion.

Goal or Targets: To reduce manual creation of AIPs and SAP Appeals to 1%; To push AIP completion rates to 90% or more of the AI population.

Time period/duration: Academic Year; Recurring

Progress and Adjustments: 

Adjustments included incorporating additional, university-approved Google bots to allow for automation of form-to-PDF conversion and auto-delivery to authenticated users for both the AIP and SAP Appeal processes.

Plan for the Year Ahead: 

To identify and assess additional processes that may be compatible to bring to scale.

Challenges and Support: 

Additional access to Business Objects reports (or others) may be required to build the data warehouses for these forms to pull information from. This may require additional collaboration with Business IT
