USG Summer 2024 Core IMPACTS Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
The USG Summer Core IMPACTS Workshop is an opportunity to explore your understanding of the USG’s revised General Education curriculum and develop new approaches to supporting students in making meaningful connections to the Core.

The Workshop will include a quick overview on Core IMPACTS – what it's all about, why it matters, and how it fits into our academic landscape – and then will dive into small group discussions on specific scenarios that have come up in our conversations with faculty and academic leaders. We will also spend some time on the embedded Career-Ready Competencies, how they related to academic skills, what they mean for Core IMPACTS and for students.

The Workshop is free, but registration is recommended. Participants will be enrolled in a MomentumU course that provides some background resources on Core IMPACTS in advance of the Workshop. Because so much of the event will take place in smaller breakout sessions, this Workshop won’t be recorded.
